Drag Queen Story Hour

Decades ago a child was a child, and that is the way it should be. Children were faced and dealt with issues no more sophisticated than what they could handle or was healthy for them. Being bullied over their lunch money was probably the most difficult and complex issue a child faced. This allowed children's social, psychological and emotional systems to develop unchallenged and healthy, reinforced by positive messages from parents, church and school.

Thanks to Hollywood, the news media and the radical left, today our polluted culture is throwing a slew of adult issues at children -- drugs, alcohol, violence, sex, suicide and the gay lifestyle. As a result, children are faced with tough adult questions they aren't mature enough to deal with.

Should I have sex or not, try pot, disrespect authority and what is my sexual preference -- girls or boys? Many are fumbling these adult questions, resulting in deep emotional and psychological issues, often acted out on themselves or others.

Hence Drag Queen Story Hour, putting another tough adult issue in the faces of our children -- am I really a boy or a girl?

This earth-shattering ratcheting up of the ball of confusion thrown at children -- pressing them to question such a fundamental trait as their sexual identity. It is not healthy for developing children, and I praise all those in opposition to this who are speaking out.
